sick...

My husband and I just got married and because of my age (34) we decided to try for a child right away.... I was shocked to find out that we conceived on our honeymoon...

Since then I have been very sick all day and very tired. I don't feel like myself at all... in fact I feel like I have lost myself completely. I am a dance instructor and used to being very active. Now I have no energy and wonder if I will ever be the same again.

I am in my 8th week now, and my doctor prescribed dycletin, which I am so thankful for, because it's helped a lot with the sickness and I am hoping my emotions will improve. Luckily my husband is wonderful and supportive and lifts my spirits by telling me I am beautiful.... I am sure it will all be worth it when the child arrives.

First time MOM

Hey I'm a first time mom and I'm 8 weeks pregnant. These past few weeks have been rough. A lot of morning sickness (more like all-day sickness) and breasts hurt a lot. I did hear that things will start to look up for me around 12 weeks of pregnancy so I'm looking forward to that.

I can't wait to start feeling good about being pregnant. I'm going to show off my baby bump with style! Right now I'm not showing but my pants do feel tight around the waist-and that's not a good feeling. I'm going to wait a few more weeks before I start buying new clothes.

My Second child

I thought having a second child would be a walk over since I had experience from the last. Believe me it’s not. I am 8 weeks pregnant oh my God I am having horrible morning sickness that no one ever had. I ask myself is this normal?

I am totally a changed person. It started with the taste of the food. Everything that I eat tastes horrible; I feel bitter in mouth 24/7. I always brush my tongue hoping that bitterness will go away but to no avail.

My colleagues are walking away from me because I can't bear the smell of their perfumes. They say it will go away in the 14th week; I can't wait because I never experienced this in my first pregnancy.

28 and excited

I am 6 weeks pregnant, excited to go for my first appointment in a couple of weeks, my husband is really excited too. We are both in total awe and amazement of how it is possible that something can be growing inside me!

I have had pretty mild symptoms, some morning sickness but never extreme, and a bit of bloating and skin breakouts... but I am feeling good, although TIRED!

Excited, and scared

I'm 6 weeks pregnant now. My husband and I have been very excited and scared because I've been sick since week 5 (not too sick) but first I had sore throat, then stuffing nose and then coughing.

I took one or two Tylenol but I didn't feel good when taking medicine while I'm pregnant so I stopped taking it. My sickness doesn't get worse but I'm still coughing. I hope it doesn't hurt the fetus. I am so scared and I am not sure how my baby is doing.

I will have my first visit at 8 weeks. I hope I will be able to see my baby heartbeat and everything is normal.
