First-time mom to be.My name is Anna, I'm 19 years old and I'm expecting my first baby this September. I'll be 27 weeks pregnant in 3 days, almost in my third trimester, yah!!! My husband and I were thrilled to find out we were having a baby girl at my 19th week IPS ultrasound. So far my pregnancy has been good to me. I had no morning sickness and all my tests have come out positive. At the beginnning of my pregnancy I was over confident...never even thought there might be a possibilty I might miscarry (even though my mom had two before she had me). I found out I was pregnant in January and started to buy tons of baby stuff. Now that I'm further along....I'm so nervous that something could go wrong. Is that normal? I still see my doc every four weeks and it seems like forever. I need more reassurance. Everyone has started to buy us baby stuff, the baby literally has enough to be born right now. She has all the nursery furniture, clothing, stroller, playpen, bassinet,....you name it. However, I haven't bought anything in the last two moths. I hope the weeks begin to fly by and that everything will be fine...I can't wait to meet my baby girl, god willing. Anna Dodging DiscomfortGreetings ladies and gents!I'm 21 years old and this is my first pregnancy. My husband and I were so excited when we found out. We're going to be having a baby boy! Anyway...just wanted to let some of you ladies know...if you're not doing any kind of exercising or stretching please do so now! Talk to your provider first though to find out what's o.k. But if you can't wait until your next appointment walking should be o.k. if your pregnancy has been normal. I just wish I had been better with exercising because it seems like it's harder for my body to move around now. So I've started walking and stretching. One thing to remember...it's never to late to start exercising so don't feel in a slump. Also...be sure to keep your feet elevated when laying down to keep those varicose veins away! I bought two pillows yesterday to expirement with. Last night I put one in between my legs at my knees and it was very comfy! (By the way I bought an extra firm pillow.) Well I hope this helps some of you or gets you to look up more about your pregnancy. Good luck to all you moms and dads! God Bless! :o) Krissy My 1st pregnancyMy name is Jaymee. I'm 19 years old soon to be 20 and my fiance and I are having a baby boy in July! We are so excited!I've had a pretty awesome pregnancy, I think I only really got sick 3 times and nothing else has really bothered me untill this trimester. I'm 31 weeks now and my back is the only thing that bothering me from time to time and the fact that I'm getting bigger! I cant wait to get this little guy out. I'm getting excited, anxious, everything went by so fast until now that I'm thinking about it. I was scared about labor at first cuz I hate needles but I knew I wanted the epidural but everyone keeps telling me you don't even think about the needle when you're having contractions. My best friend just had a baby a few months ago and she said it was soo easy for her, as soon as she went in she was dialated 2cm and got the epidural right then and was talking even between pushing! I hope that my labor is as easy as her's was. Let me tell ya this little guy is a kicker so we are probably going to have our hand full in a few weeks! Jaymee The Working WorldHello! I am 31 weeks pregnant and I am still working and standing on my feet for eight hrs a day! It is getting so tiring but the thought of being able to give my daughter everything that she ever wanted is the only thing that now drives me to get up and go to work in the morning. This is my first child so all the movements and such are still very new and exciting to but I know I don't have long to go. Let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope for a speedy delivery! And good luck to everyone else!Jill Blissfully PregnantHello All,I am 30 weeks pregnant today. Man, it's gone by so fast. Although, this pregnancy wasn't planned but my husband and I are totally excited. I guess God knows what he's doing after all. We didn't plan this but he obviously did. We didn't care if we had a boy or girl, we just hoped for a healthy child. We were completely elated to find out we were having a little boy. It has been an extremely easy pregnancy for me. I haven't had any sickness, swelling, or any other complications and not very much weight gain. I thought ok something can't be right, no one has it this easy. I was right.....a few weeks ago I had my glucose tolerence test and my 1 hour came back high at 187. I was scared to death. My doctor sent me to have a 3hr test on a Friday and that following Tuesday I got the results back. I had the 3 hour done for no reason. My test was fine!! My God is an awsome God!! I know it was something very minute to some of the problems most people have but being overweight going into this pregnancy and diabetes running rampant in my family, I was immediately scared that this among other problems would come up. I can honestly say I love being pregnant!! Just knowing that there is a child living inside me growing strong and healthy is awsome. To feel him kick and the flutters of his every move is like no other feeling in the world. I thank God for the little boy he has blessed us with.
