Twins?????

I am currently the mother to 3 and right now I am 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant. My husband and I are overjoyed, as we lost a pregnancy in June 07 that was a twin etopic. This time around I just know I am having twins! I tested positive with a FRER test at 9dpo instantly! The only quasi-evidence that I have is my HCG levels (which in all of my other pregnancies were always low); at 14dpo 231 and at 16dpo 658. I'm having the worst all day and all night morning sickness of any pregnancy, my breasts are overflowing from my bras and are in extreme pain, and I already feel huge and very pregnant! I'm having my 1st ultrasound this week and I just know we will hear "here is your baby, and here is your other baby...it looks like you are having twins!"

seems like triplets!

I never thought that it was easy to get pregnant right after having a baby! My newborn was just about to turn 3months when I got pregnant again. I could not believe my ears when I found out I was 10weeks pregnant with identical twin girls! My oldest is 6 and I it took a long time to have my 2nd child. That's why I wanted to enjoy him before having anymore kids but god had his own plans! I am now 31wks pregnant and my doctor wants me to give birth after week 35 but knowing that all my other children were csection I am a bit afraid to go through what I just went through.

My 2nd son just turn 9months today and everybody says because he is still a baby it will be like having triplets! Lets see what happens. im on a count down. wish me luck!

Delivery

I just had twins in December of 07, and I was able to deliver them naturally without any pitocin or an epidural.

I carried to 37 weeks and then I was induced by having my doctor break my water. The reason I got induced was because I had to drive 100 miles to my doctor. (Good doctors are hard to come by). All the nearer hospitals were not authorized to deliver twins naturally because they were not specifically OB/GYN's, meaning that they had other fields of medicine they practiced and did not only work in gynecology.

So it was winter time and I was already dilated to a 3 and fully effaced. I basically "interviewed" three doctors to find the one that was right for me. I really wanted a natural birth and my second twin was breech for the duration of my pregnancy, but he flipped to head down position the weekend before I delivered and they were born with no complications whatsoever.

I did have to deliver in the OR, but at least I was able to find a doctor who allowed me to have the most natural experience as possible. Yes, multiples are High Risk, but I saw no need to make a big deal out of a most natural thing... the worst part of my delivery was that after the placenta detached I started bleeding severely and the doctor did then have to put me on pitocin to try to stop the bleeding while the nurses were pushing and massaging my uterus to contract.

But hey, I was already in the OR!

On Losing and Loving

My little brother Nate had cancer. I used to spend lots of time in the cancer ward and I made alot of friends. Luke was my boyfriend. He was terminally ill but to me it didn't matter. We were serious, having sex without protection.

I got pregnant and when I found out I was only 3 months. I never got the chance to tell Luke, he died when I was 1 month pregnant. As my pregnancy progressed I started to tell people. My parents were supportive, I didn't live with them but they offered money and babysitting.

Everybody knew Luke was the father so nobody said anything bad. I found out everything was fine when I was 4 and a half months pregnant. I was having triplets.

My little brother, Nate, died when I was 8 months pregnant. It was traumatic. Especially since I went into labor the next day. After 37 hours of labor I got to hold 2 boys and a girl. I named the boys Lowell Nathaniel and Nevan Lucas. My precious girl I named Milena Odette (Mila).

They are 5 years old now and I am married and have twin girls, Mirielle Olivia (Miri), and Mirabelle Kay (Mira), they are 2. I have a 7 month old boy who just started smiling, his name is Oliver Omarion.

I lost alot but I gained even more and I know that the men I lost are watching over us in Heaven. I am 5 months pregnant with what I plan on being my last child. Since I know there are so many people watching her from above I am naming her Sakina Rain.

I miss the men I lost but I still love my babies more than anything.

Ivy, Claire, Joanna, and Blake.

5 months after our first anniversary I found out I was pregnant. The timing was perfect, Henry, my husband, owns his own buisness and it was taking off, my parents and my in-laws had both moved about 20 minutes away and we were in a great place financially. My pregnancy went great, I was all energy and I had no problems. We spent hours searching for the perfect name. When Ivy Gwyneth finally arrived things calmed down. We spent hours on the living room floor playing tickle toes or peekaboo. The, in no time at all, she was crawling. By the time she was talking we were trying to have another baby. It didn't take long, when Ivy was 1 we found out i was pregnant again. We didn't expect any more than just the one, but we got 3! After a pretty easy pregnancy considering my largeness, when Ivy was 18 months old, we got to see our 3 miracles outside of my tummy. 2 girls, Joanna Hale and Claire Aveline, and , to my husbands delight, a boy, Blake Dominic. They were all healthy and now at 3 months old they are starting to smile! It's the sweetest thing!
