Confused

My aunt and myself are both pregnant. We're 4 days apart. Her 3rd my 1st. Anyways she's a nurse so I've been getting to cheat. Early doppler test and early ultrasound. Well at 17 weeks my aunt let me cheat and we looked at the ultrasound to see what i was having (she had just found out she was having a little girl) The ultrasound said girl. Clear as day it was a little girl. My aunt was even going on about how mine was more clearer than hers and how much bigger my baby was than hers... Well when i went to my actual dr for my actual u/s. It was a boy. Since the beginning I've been dreaming about twins a boy and a girl.. (Just chose to ignore) At 7 weeks i had to go to the er (threatened miscarriage) and the u/s showed two fetus' (I chose to ignore) And now with a huge baby I'm not sure if its a girl or if it's a boy... I still can't get the vision of those two from 7 wks and the two flickers on both of them out of my head. The dr has only looked at the side of the baby never the face so i dunno if there are two in there just jumping back and forth trying to confuse me. I felt first fetal movement almost 9 weeks and its been constant since (just not hard enough to feel on the outside yet) So I'm very very confused about it.. Is it one just really big hyper baby or two rambunctious babies wreaking havoc? Any advice?

Excited

I found out I was pregnant with twins on my routine ultrasound at five months. My doctor hadn't heard two heartbeats and my uterus hadn't been measuring any larger then it would have for a single baby so I never thought that having twins was even possible. On the day of the ultrasound my husband and I were so excited to finally see the baby and find out if we were having a boy or a girl when the tech informed us that we were not having one baby but two. One boy and one girl. It took a while before my husband and I could stop laughing. This is our first pregnancy and we are so blessed to have two for the price of one. I am now 30 weeks along and getting bigger each day. I can't wait until I get to meet my two babies!

Jayden and Jillian

I just want to reassure all of the expectant twin moms out there. After three years of heartache that included two miscarriages my husband and I were blessed to find out that we were expecting twins. I worried throughout the entire pregnancy, which I now regret doing. I dealt with gestational diabetes, the PUPPS rash, and preterm labor that sent me to the hospital via ambulance for a week stay that included magnesium and steroid shots-(30 weeks).
I felt like the other shoe was going to drop at any second. I feared doctor's appointments and counted the days in efforts to feel like I reached a "safe" point of the pregnancy. Everyone tried to reassure me but I was a nervous wreck.
My advice to you all- Your body is amazingly strong. Have faith in it because the situation is not that delicate. My son and daughter were born at exactly 35 weeks. I had a C-section and am proud to say that my children did NOT need any respitory aid or additional interventions. They went home with me and are now almost four months old.
Be excited about how much fun you are going to have. My twins are smiling and are thriving beautifully. We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to be mothers of twins. The best is yet to come. I'm having the time of my life. Congratulations!

Triplets!! Oh No

I am 18 years old and found out 3 weeks ago that I am pregnant, I spoke to my boyfriend about it and we decided to keep the baby even though it was unplanned. I then split up with my partner a week later and he no longer wants anything to do with the baby and told me to have an abortion.

I spoke to the doctor regarding this, and last week I went for a termination, as they gave me an internal ultrasound to check how far on I was, they broke the news that I was 11 weeks pregnant with triplets.

As I had found this out I felt I could not go ahead with the termanation as I felt if I done it, then I would never forgive myself. The hospital gave me four options: to keep all 3 babies, to terminate 1(The single baby), to terminate 2 (The set of twins) or terminate all 3. So I have sat and had a big long think about life and what to do now.

I have decided to have my 3 babies, and bring them up as best as I can. As my ex wants nothing to do with them, my parents are going to help me as much as possible.

I just hope I can be a good mother to my children.

I will keep you all informed on how everything goes.

Emma
