Blissfully Pregnant

Hello All,

I am 30 weeks pregnant today. Man, it's gone by so fast. Although, this pregnancy wasn't planned but my husband and I are totally excited. I guess God knows what he's doing after all. We didn't plan this but he obviously did.

We didn't care if we had a boy or girl, we just hoped for a healthy child. We were completely elated to find out we were having a little boy.
It has been an extremely easy pregnancy for me. I haven't had any sickness, swelling, or any other complications and not very much weight gain.
I thought ok something can't be right, no one has it this easy.

I was right.....a few weeks ago I had my glucose tolerence test and my 1 hour came back high at 187. I was scared to death. My doctor sent me to have a 3hr test on a Friday and that following Tuesday I got the results back. I had the 3 hour done for no reason. My test was fine!! My God is an awsome God!!

I know it was something very minute to some of the problems most people have but being overweight going into this pregnancy and diabetes running rampant in my family, I was immediately scared that this among other problems would come up.

I can honestly say I love being pregnant!! Just knowing that there is a child living inside me growing strong and healthy is awsome. To feel him kick and the flutters of his every move is like no other feeling in the world.

I thank God for the little boy he has blessed us with.

27 wks and Counting

Well what can I say...I'm 26 yrs old and pregnant for the 4th time but this will be my 3rd child.

I lost a baby August of 2005 and now I'm due August of 2006. We found out in March that we are having another little boy and we can't wait..This pregnancy seems so fast yet soooo slow...lol...

Anyways it's been a pretty good pregnancy up to this point.I have been feeling him kick since about 2 1/2 -3 months along and boy is he is kicker. He kicks first thing in morning then naps then starts again around 6pm and doesn't stop..

He is just like his big brother Jayson..a handful. I can already tell. But I don't care. I will love him anyways...Well maybe I will write more later. It's time for our nap...

my pregnancy

My husband and I got married in Oct. of 2005..... three weeks later, I found out that we were pregnant. It was a bit of a shock due to the fact that we had wanted to wait a couple years before we started a family.. We are both very young, I am 20 and so is he. We found out about six weeks ago that we are having a girl. She looked perfect and I can't believe how much love you can feel for something you've never touched, held, kissed... or really seen for that matter. Im so happy to be experiencing this. To all you ladies out there, Congrats on your little angels and good luck.

The nonglowing pregnant woman

I always thought during pregnancy that I would be glowing and just full of energy. I would watch pregnant woman before me and be in "awe" of them because I just thought it was so cool to be able to make a child.

Between the backaches, headaches, swelling and fatigue, I find it hard to glow. Don't get me wrong, i am so excited to be having my first child, but it takes a toll on your body that I wasn't aware of. So don't feel bad for being down and tired sometimes......our bodies are stretching and carrying more weight than it has in a while...smile, rub your belly and just think, a couple more months and you will be holding your precious baby!!

Pregnant teen

Well, you saw the title. My doctor suggested that I share my story on this site. So if you're interested, then here's my story: I'm six months pregnant, and I'm fifteen years old. Before that, though, even though I had Depression, everything was fine. Then, the day came that I found out I was pregnant. I was terrified. My boyfriend had dumped me just that morning, so I didn't have anyone to fall back on. I was scared of what my family would say. My Dad kicked me out, and I had to get emancipated (I live on my own). The father of my baby, a girl, denies that he is the father. I was suprised. I never expected that out of him. As for my family, my Dad refuses to let my relatives know. Many have confronted him about the 'rumor,' and he says that I'm lying.

I don't know what these next few months hold for me. But let me clear this one up; I'm not a gangster girl. I'm not a rebel. I've never told a lie in my life, and I never get in trouble at school, or when I was home. I just made a mistake. And if anyone else out there is dealing with the same thing I am, then I want to remind you you aren't alone.

For those of you reading this in disgust, then that's fine with me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinon. Just remember, I'm still a normal teenager. I'm just a normal teenager who happens to be pregnant. Other than that, nothing is wrong with me. I'm about to be a single mother. Yeah, it'll be hard. The hardest thing I'll ever be up against. But I can do it. I have faith in myself. No one seems to anymore, so I have to support myself.

Good luck to you other single mothers, and you younger people. Both of you are brave people.

Jessie
